Yellow Peril Harvard_00166.jpg - The North American Harvard aircraft joined the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) in 1940and for a quarter of a century, was the RCAF's most famous advanced trainer. The"Yellow Peril" was a common sight over the prairies of Canada. The two-place, singleengine propellor-driven Aircraft was eventually replaced by the "Tutor" jet trainer.This one is mounted on a pedestal in Victoria Park, along the Rideau Canal in Smiths Falls.Photographed at Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada.
